Travis served four distinguished years as a communications professional in the United States Marine Corps, where he specialized in satellite and radio transmissions. He has extensive operational experience in Southeast Asia, the Republic of Korea, and elsewhere in support of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
Born in South America, his history prior to the military included partnership with the Chegg Foundation, and the Me to We Foundation, helping to build water purification systems for communities within the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador. Travis has continued his passion for cultural involvement in countries such as the Philippines, Singapore, and Australia.
Travis graduated from Washington State University with a BA in Social Sciences and is currently completing his MA in Intelligence Studies with a focus in Terrorism from the American Military University.
